Aftershock:
An American tourist in Chile and his newfound
friends face a grueling fight for survival following a massive earthquake in
this harrowing disaster film starring and co-written by Eli Roth (who penned
the screenplay alongside Guillermo Amoedo and director Nicolas Lopez).
Good-natured Gringo (Roth) and his two Chilean pals Ariel (Ariel Levy) and
Pollo (Nicolas Martinez) are looking to hook up with some ladies when they
happen across gorgeous Russian model Irina (Natasha Yarovenko) hard-partying
Kylie (Lorenza Izzo), and Kylie's straight-laced older sister Monica (Andrea
Osvart), who agree to join them for an impromptu trip to Valparaiso. But the
following night, as the music blares and the club gets jumping, the ground
starts to crumble beneath their feet. With chaos in the air and Ariel seriously
injured, everyone tries to keep their cool while seeking help for their friend.
Little do they realize that this is the beginning of a nightmare from which no
one can wake up, and when the inmates escape from a local prison and begin
flooding into the streets, the initial shock turns to outright terror as roving
gangs of convicts begin to rape, rob, and murder at will.
No one lives:
A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple
hostage and goes to ground in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When
the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned. The gang finds
itself outsmarted by an urbane and seasoned killer determined to ensure that no
one lives.

Dark
Circles:
When new parents Alex and Penny retreat from the
city and move into a place outside town, the stress and massive
sleep-deprivation caused by their infant has both of them seeing things in the
house that may or may not exist. Persistent sightings of a strange woman has
each of them wondering if they are suffering from hallucinations, or if their
new home holds a dark, supernatural presence. As their fragile grasp on reality
spirals into delirium, Alex and Penny find themselves nearly helpless to deal
with the horrific truth of what is really going on in this house.
Alyce
Kills:
Wracked with guilt after accidentally knocking her
best friend off of a roof, tormented Echo Park, L.A., resident Alyce (Jade
Dornfeld) stumbles into a self-destructive cyclone of hard drugs, dangerous
sex, and senseless violence. The further Alyce drifts away from reality, the
greater the risk grows to everyone around her.

American Mary:
The story of a medical student named Mary who is
growing increasingly broke and disenchanted with medical school and the
established doctors she once idolized. The allure of easy money sends a
desperate Mary through the messy world of underground surgeries which leaves
more marks on her than the so-called freakish clientele.
The Purge:
If on one night every year, you could commit any
crime without facing consequences, what would you do? In The Purge, a
speculative thriller that follows one family over the course of a single night,
four people will be tested to see how far they will go to protect themselves
when the vicious outside world breaks into their home. In an America wracked by
crime and overcrowded prisons, the government has sanctioned an annual 12-hour
period in which any and all criminal activity—including murder—becomes legal.
The police can't be called. Hospitals suspend help. It's one night when the
citizenry regulates itself without thought of punishment. On this night plagued
by violence and an epidemic of crime, one family wrestles with the decision of
who they will become when a stranger comes knocking.

Well thats what you all can look forward to in May! I'm not one to judge a book by its cover but based on some of these movie posters I am a bit skeptical because many-a-movies have fooled me with their awesomely creepy posters only for the movie to be utter rubbish .
I can say though that I'm EXTREMELY excited to watch The Purge I really hope the movie is as good as the trailer.
If I have left out any upcoming movies let me know in the comment box below and will add them to the list, especially with regards to Indie Horror movies because its much harder to find their release dates online.
