OH MY GOSH PIXIE WAS KIDNAPPED!!!

Yes yes I was attacked and kidnapped by a clan of vampires no I mean werewolves actually it was by a pack of hybrid lygers..YES LYGERS!! Thats why I haven't posted anything in such a long while!!

Alright alright so maybe I wasn't kidnapped just busy with college thrown in with some major procrastination and a little laziness..ok maybe a lot of laziness but hey I'm back now!!

So lets dive right into it...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the man that gave me my very first nightmare...Robert Englund aka Freddy Krueger who turned 65 today. He is forever engraved in the Horror Hall of fame and because of his stellar performance in Nightmare on Elm street I was turned into a horror movie junkie, thank you for the many and I mean many night terrors i had as a child your are all sorts of kickass awesomeness!

WARNING: The next idiot who tries to play Freddy Krueger in another Nightmare on elm street remake and isn't Robert Englund will be shot...and if you so happen to survive you will be shot again!

UPCOMING HORROR MOVIE REVIEW:

The Devil Inside

In Italy, a woman becomes involved in a series of unauthorized exorcisms during her mission to discover what happened to her mother, who allegedly murdered three people during her own exorcism.

Director: William Brent Bell

RANDOM HORROR FACT OF THE DAY:

One of the most gruesome forms of execution was Sawing.

In Execution by sawing, the criminal would be hung upside-down and a large saw would be used to cut their body in half, starting with the groin, all the way to the head. Because the person was hanging upside-down, the brain received sufficient blood to keep them alive until the saw finally reached the main blood vessels in the abdomen. In the Asian version of this execution, the victim would stand upright and the sawing would begin at the top of the head.
Some traditions state that the Prophet Isaiah was executed by the saw. It is believed that Saint Paul is making reference to this in his Epistle to the Hebrews 11:37:
They were stoned, they were cut asunder, they were tempted, they were put to death by the sword, they wandered about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being in want, distressed, afflicted.
This method of execution was used in the Middle East, Europe, and parts of Asia. It was also used in the Roman Empire and was considered to be the favorite punishment dished out by Emperor Caligula.

Well that's all for now my horror minions...will try not to get kidnapped again by those damn witches, zombies damnit what did i say before...OH YES lygers!!

Love,Peace and Bloody-coated hugs
Pixie

  3. Hey! It's nice to have you back. :) Lygers and Mr. Schuester? This post has everything! Haha. I still want to see 'The Devil Inside' because I love a good possession movie. I couldn't bring myself to read about sawing! That just sounds awful. The things people think up to hurt one another! Who even invents this stuff?
